Saint Teresa Cheerleading
Open to students in Kindergarten through Grade 8, the Saint Teresa Cheerleading Program—led by Coach Nicole—is built on decades of spirit, tradition, and heart. With both game-day and competitive team options, students of all experience levels are welcome to learn, grow, and shine as part of a supportive cheer family.
Program Options
Game-Day Team: Cheers at school basketball games and other events.
Competition Team: Performs at local and regional competitions (participation optional; CAL registration not required).
More Than a Team—A Legacy
Coach Nicole began cheering with her daughter at St. Leo’s and launched the Saint Teresa program from the ground up. Since 2000, she has mentored generations of young athletes, many of whom still stay connected long after graduation. In fact, three current assistant coaches began cheering with Nicole at age five—and now help lead the program in their 20s.
For Coach Nicole, every cheerleader is family: “Once a parent drops off their child, they become mine to support, guide, and mold into something great.” From cheering on the sidelines to celebrating milestones like weddings and graduations, the bond built in this program lasts a lifetime.
Giving Back
Our cheerleaders proudly represent Saint Teresa in the community—supporting events like the Saint Raphael Alumni 5K, where they cheer runners to the finish line with unmatched energy and encouragement.
Uniforms are provided through team fundraising.
Volunteerism, teamwork, and school spirit are at the heart of every season.
