Cross Country Information
Eagles don’t run—they fly.
At Saint Teresa School, our Cross Country program is open to students in grades 4–8 and continues to grow in strength, spirit, and success each year. Whether you're running your first race or chasing a personal best, every Eagle is celebrated for their effort and commitment.
We field three teams:
- Junior Division – Grades 4 & 5 (New! Now formally recognized with tracked standings and a championship trophy!)
- Grammar Division Girls – Middle school girls (Grades 6–8)
- Grammar Division Boys – Middle school boys (Grades 6–8)
In 2023, our boys' team won the Division Championship and finished as State Runners-Up, and in 2024, they repeated as Division Champions—a testament to the heart and hustle of our runners.

Coaching & Volunteering
Our team is led by Kelly Bonner, our P.E. teacher, and Coach Melissa Medeiros, parent to 3 of our cross country runners. All coaches are CAL-certified. Parents are encouraged to volunteer—either as weekly course monitors or support staff. To coach or volunteer, all adults must complete a BCI background check and take the P.L.A.C.T. training through the Catholic Athletic League.
For more information about coaching, volunteering, or if you have any additional questions, please email our Athletic Director, Kelly Bonner, at kbonner@stspawtucket.com
Space Is Limited
Please note that all sports have minimum and maximum roster sizes in order to compete in the Catholic Athletic League. Space is limited, and teams may fill up quickly—so we encourage families to register as early as possible.
Placement is not guaranteed once a team reaches capacity.
